What about G. Skill Ares DDR3 RAM? I have a set of it in my rig and it is a rather pretty shade of blue indeed

Must have a shroud and will not considering if it is blue because of the back plate/board or if only fan wings are blue

Zotac 1080ti "Chevy Themed"

bdec20950413.jpg

Also I love blue, and am building a blue (and black) build for a friend. When I saw the skylake z170 board prices i choked on air.

Planed build

i3-7100, Enermax TS 40-BK (the blue fan version)

EVGA GTX 1060 SC (black with a white LED logo, it will do I guess)

MSI H270 PC mate (almost all black)

G.Skill Ripjaws V (this memory is the coolest looking by far)

Nzxt S340 Elite (on their website you can find a blue version, yay!)

Samsung 850 EVO (might put blue Vinyl on it)

PSU is hidden, but using Blue Cable Mod ModMesh cables.

Hard part was keeping it all around $1000 with a $110 monitor included

I just personally cant justify $300 for a motherboard.

There's plenty of Z170 boards that don't cost $300.

Or have prices gone up because manufacturers have moved on to only making Z270 boards?

Prices foe the 170 have mostly gone down

And yes its not like that board in indicative of the average motherboard. Most are probably in the $150 range. None that have a blue color scheme though. :(
