Perhaps instead of spending your money on truly unnecessary things like Dominator Platinum RAM, spend it on the games you will play.

And no, this build isnt compatible. The CPU is LGA 1151, the motherboard is not. other than that you are good. Also you might want to get a cooler for your CPU

why do you have 8 16gb ram kits? no need for 1500w psu unless you need more than 2 gpus.

they are a 2 stick kit, 8x2 is 16, the motherboard only has 8 slots... also you need to buy water cooling parts for that GPU.

Chances are you'll see just as much performance from a much cheaper system. You haven't even told us what you're using it for, or what monitor.

Could be a language barrier. He could mean "I don't have a set budget, and I want a gaming PC."

Ok but look at the build, 400 euros on a psu and the same on his case, his cpu cost as much. 3 1080's (which doesn't even work)

It doesn't make sense, but not everyone is a build guru. He might just be new to the craft.

You can't just assume that he knows what he's doing. I have a friend who wanted a 6950x in his computer. He can easily afford it. I talked him into a 6700k and he's much happier.

He simply didn't know how to properly construct a build.
