So I'm really open to suggestions but what mechanical keyboard would be be the best for 100 to 150 us dollars that has a keypad and is back-lit. I'm not really sure exactly what switch I want (which is why I'm open to suggestion) but maybe not one that is super loud like maybe brown switches I think. I play a lot of Dota 2 (so maybe a good key switch for dota?) so It's really the only reason I want a mechanical keyboard rather then the membrane one I have. thanks

I personally like blue switches.  But I also love that sweet, sweet clickity-clack sound.

Corsair K70 is nice. Better then strafe IMO because it features metal rather then plastic construction. Also the under glow looks cooler IMO again.

That depends. Do you want to hear and feel the presses? Then yeah its not bad, altough the travelling distance is slightly longer and the downward force necessary is slightly higher. If you want a non-audible and low tactile feedback, then Reds or even better, Speed, is what you should get. Cherry MX Speeds are exclusive to the Strafe btw. If your super competitive, Reds or Speed are highly recommended.

I just want to be able to rest my hands on WASD without the keys falling down and inputting. I don't really want to hear much but I do want a tactile response.

Ducky's a good choice. They're supposed to be pretty well built, and are very reliable according to my co-worker who bought one about a year and half ago.

 

Also, regarding your WASD question, almost all mechanical key switches have enough resistance to not accidentally actuate if you rest your fingers on them. If you want that tactile feel without too much noise, then MX Browns are your best bet. MX Reds are quieter, but they're mushier in feel, at least to my fingers.
