The newest wan show looks like a prerecord so far, they didnt respond to the chat at all, and the people were all practically screaming at them to roll the intro, and they forgot it.

they don't have their twitch chat's open they are just looking at the news pages just look when their screen sharing you can see they have twitch open they wouldn't have twitch open if they weren't streaming live

It's funny when random shit happens in the chat. But it gets annoying when it's a bunch of kids that are spamming 5 lines of "RECORDED" and emoji's.

True. Its very distracting. I hide the chat. If Linus or Luke find something interesting in chat then they'll mention it.

ahh I know now why the chat is being read it's because Luke's screen capture is working and Linus's chat minion Luke is now distracted with the topics that's why they don't see chat because Luke is no longer chat minion when he is hooked up to the screen share thing so the chat has no minion to look at chat for Linus

Well that's not entirely correct. They did admit to pre-recording one show - I think it was Christmas or some other holiday. But 99.9% of the shows are all live.

 

But really, who gives a shit, either way? I watch them all on VOD on YT anyway, so not like it makes a difference to me. But Twitch Chat is usually garbage regardless, so I'm not surprised that they ignore it.

Friday's show was definitely not pre-recorded. They even screenshared the live twitch stream for a few seconds.

 

But really, who even cares if they do pre-record it? They sometimes do Twitter Blitz, but even that's pretty rare these days, so there's very little interaction, it's mostly just the unscripted nature of the show that makes it good as a livestream.
