Posted September 16, 2016 Hey guys, I know it seems a bit too early to talk... Are you going to upgrade your GPU next year? I surely will, but I have no idea what I will be buying yet. If yes, then from what you currently know from leaks and news, what are you most hyped for? Me personally, I just want to see where next year's competition goes and how will the high end Vega cards perform against the leaked GTX 1080Ti. Posted September 16, 2016 None of them, really. GPUs have all been very boring since the Titan if you ask me. Maybe it's because I'm not looking to buy a new GPU right now, so I'm just not really interested.
 Posted September 16, 2016 none either they will underperform or overcost Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch. Posted September 16, 2016 Author Yeah, well I can surely do with my GTX 980 for another year. However I need a new monitor, I want it to be an ultra wide and a high refresh rate... the only issue i find are those Variable refresh rates... if you get a monitor, you are stuck with the company... Posted September 16, 2016 The rumored 1080Ti has me concerned for Volta. If they release it around January* (launch rumor), I don't see them releasing a new GPU architecture next year it would seem to close. I want to upgrade possibly to next years Titan hopefully be able to do 4K +60FPS Ultra settings, currently The Witcher 3 maxed out at 4k does about 30-40 fps. Posted September 16, 2016 The GTX 1080 will last me a year+. I was interested in the 1080 Ti but I really need a new monitor. I'll definitely be getting a 144Hz 1440p G-Sync monitor with a high end Volta GPU. Definitely excited about Volta as it's a brand new arch by NVidia. Nice, but I am upgrading from a GTX980 to either a 1080Ti or a Vega card. Unfortunately for me is that if I do upgrade to an Nvidia card, I will need to buy a G-Sync monitor, so I hope to see AMD's new cards how they perform and get an aftermarket one.
