Windows 10 not reporting correct ram speed

I'm overclocking this 6850k.   I used 32gb dominator platinum 3333.  I have it set to 2400 in the bios.   Xmp is off.    Windows shows 2133 in task manager..  Is that accurate?   Cpu z   memory page is blank except for capacity.   Is there anther program that will check it?

From my experience task manager is pretty accurate at saying the speed of RAM. What motherboard are you using? can it handle above 2133Mhx RAM?

Asus delux ii.   Yes it can handle it.  But i cant actually get it to increase no matter what i set in the bios.

Changed it to xmp on... (in the bios,  the switch is still off)  

 

 

No change.   Will flip the switch and try again

Not absoloutely sure, but if you have an OC already set it might not let you enable xmp... could be wrong, but if you have an OC might be worth a shot resetting to defaults and then enabling xmp.

 

[edit] plus I would make any changes actually in the BIOS rather than in a windows program.

I tried it with every combination of oc/no oc  xmp/no xmp.. switch on, off etc... windows 10 is just wrong.  ran crystal disk on a ram disk and its definately running at 2666.  you can see the change when you slow it down.  also over on overclockers, people have reported win 10 wrong on many occasions.
