1080Ti Price Estimate

Does anyone have an educated estimate as to what the 1080Ti will cost (USD)?

Thanks,

Thanks,

Why are you asking in USD when you're in Australia? Exchange rate will probably be different by the time it comes out. But in AUD I would expect about $1500 which will be ridiculous.

Main PC CPU: 7700K, MOBO: Asus Strix, GPU: Aorus Extreme 3080, PSU: EVGA Supernova G2 750, RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB Storage: 970 Evo 1tb

Lounge PC CPU: 4790K MOBO: Asus Hero VII GPU: EVGA 3060 Ti PSU: Corsair RM650 RAM: Kingston HyperX 16gb Storage: 970 Evo 1TB

I'm asking in USD because NVIDIA is from the US, and looks at the US primarily when selling.

NVIDIA cards are tied to the US economy, so the USD price is much easier to guess that AUD price.

I also function in USD for my computer and education calculations.

The cheapest I could find an RX 470 was $335 NZD or $245 USD. It is however the only current get component that is priced similarly to the US.

Here the 1080 is $1100 USD, and a shipped HTC vive was $1814 USD last I looked. Exchange rates don't always scale well.

Wait until 1080 Ti is officially announced, there is no point speculating. I would not be surprised if there isn't going to be one.

There's more than a little gap between the 1080 and XP though. It will logically have to be between the two, but I think it would be closer to 1080 than XP in a similar way the 980ti was closer to 980 than Titan X.

Halfway between the price of the gtx1080 and Titan X Pascal would be around $950

Don't think Nvidia will release the GTX1080ti anytime soon since there's no competition for it and AMD Vega is like a few more months away.

True. But with Zen, Vega and hopefully the 1080Ti as well on the horizon, early 2017 is shaping up to be very interesting indeed. My credit card is ready and waiting...
