So what do you guys think about it?

It looks exactly the same as the wired version so im kinda sad about that.

But in Europe its going to cost around 180 Euro which is freaking crazy!!

I am curious if they have the same audio quality as the wired ones.

And I am more curious if they dont fall off your ear when your walking normally lol

The concept of the powerbank ish thing sounds perfect though! It can load its power while being in your pocket :)

Edit: So when you buy a iphone 7 you wont get any earpods? but the cost of the phone is a bit more aswel? So thats like getting double screwed?

You should get the wired ones with the iPhone 7, but when it comes to sound, apple really likes the beats gen.

I am willing to bet that the wireless ones aren't that good. Also that little stick on each side looks stupid.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

Laptop: ThinkPad P50: i7 6820HQ, M2000M. ThinkPad T420s: i7 2640M, NVS 4200M

Makes no sense to give wired ones with the iPhone 7 because of no audiojack lol

But then im sure they will sell a adapter/converter or whatever they call it to be able to plug it into your phone.

But thats really a ninja like action.

Why?

People also called Beats by Dre Solo 2 Wireless headphone shit but I love them. They got great base and the sound quality is also fine.

I am sure you could find one half the price with the same quality but they usually look big and ugly.

Well sound preferences is subjective but all i'm saying is that you clearly have a lot of money and I think that you can get something better for cheaper. The jaybirds x2 are so light and sound amazing.

They are the first viable contender for "truly wireless headphones that sound not awful". I really like the design, the sticks coming out of the ear are no stupider than a wire coming out of your ear and have obvious benefits when it comes to a microphone. The integration between your devices is also a great feature, so long as it's seamless.

I won't buy them because I don't need headphones - and who knows how they'll work in practice - but I appreciate the engineering and design.

They include wired ones that go in the charging port. They also include an adapter for normal headphones in the box.

How in the world can you possibly know how good the Airpods are when they're not even in the wild yet?

Once you hear something better and then go back to the Dre Solo 2's, you'll understand, lol.

We adjust to things over time so they sound "fine", but once you try something better and adjust to it then go back, you'll hear all the problems they have. There's a reason why almost all headphone upgrades result in "oh my god I've never heard my favorite songs have all these different noises in them before"

Well, Apple is known for over-hyping things and I think that these will be shit, wired ear pods but wireless with siri. Of course wait for the air pods to ship but my bet is that it will be overpriced and shit.

Personally I think that they should have added a second lightning connector if they can't fit the 3.5mm audio jack. But I guess apple loves single port devices

I don't disagree, but stating such as advice before anyone have had a chance to get their hands on them really should be discouraged.

Hey maybe apple will surprise us with a new iPhone with a gpu performance of a gtx 1080. Only catch is that it will be so slim that the battery will only be 1 mhp

I am a Apple fanboy just because of the iPhone 7 (which I wont buy).

1-) The products look pretty damn good on the outside.

2-) Rarely runs slow or have bugs on the iPhone.

3-) Never had a issue. It wont have a issue except if your using old hardware which your trying to update.

4-) They force the technology to change. Thank to do "no audiojack", which most company will also do in the near future.

Thanks to them companies are getting kinda forced to do more wireless. Which is the freaking future.

If it wasnt Apple we would still use freaking wires on our phones for the next 10 years atleast.

Well they're only a "contender" until they're released. Then the verdict is in and they're either great or not.

The design allows for good call quality (which is a very important part of bluetooth headsets). All other options I've seen try to hide the earbud inside your ear which is also quite bad for balance as they have heavy batteries in them. And finally Apple has an above-average sound signature in their wired earbuds - nothing spectacular, but the benefits of no wireless will outweigh that. Most companies making this style of headphones are focused on the looks first and pay little attention to sound and connection quality. I'm pretty sure Linus reviewed one of them. If the connection is that seamless as well, with integration between your devices, than that is a significant improvement to UX.

People need to realise Apple don't sell products. They sell an experience. That's their whole thing. That's why you pay more.

I've always used the analogy of a restaurant here - people will happily pay $20 for a steak. They won't pay $50. What they will pay though, is $100, $200 or more for a great experience. The difference between a restaurant that sells a steak for $20 and a restaurant that sells the same steak for $50 is experience - your paying for ambience, music, a good time with your friends, where your water glass never runs empty and you don't have to ask for anything.

The iPhone's battery life is nowhere near acceptable, I know they want the technology to change but they should have put two lightning connectors on the phone for people to charge and use audio adapters. Frankly wireless products have to be charged nearly every day which is really annoying. What if your airpod ran out of battery? Then you would be stuck with no earpieces, and have to charge it up before being able to use it again.

How many times have you charged your phone and used the earpiece at the same time? I assume you would do that every once in a while. With the lightning earbuds you can only charge your phone or use your earbuds

I never had a problem with the battery life of an iPhone.

I tend to charge it up before I leave the house on a daily basis.

I am using the regular iPhone 6.

It only drains alot of battery when your watching online videos etc nonstop for hours. But thats normal in my opinion.

Same goes for the earpods. Just charge them up. If you want to use earpods or your phone +5 hours a day then I would agree with you.
