Raid SSD isn't really that useful. Skullcandy is absolutely no. There are better fans out there than Corsairs.

Don't get the scout 2. Go for something bigger like the Air 540 or maybe even the 750d.

pcpartspicker I can try but with all the suggestions i wont yet.

Raid SSD just sounded cool, but if it isnt much functional than I wont bother.

The reason I wanted the Scout 2 is for Laning purposes. What case you recommend for laning?

4770k is thre a big gain? I also plan to bump up to 32gb

Why a R9 havent heard much of them other than they are supposed to be powerful but how powerful?

why a Corsair RM series PSU?

AMD A10-7850k, Cooler Master 212 EVO, Team 2133 2x4gb, V300 120gb, DVD, 3 HDD, MSI A88X-G43, Asus Strix GTX 970, EVGA Super Nova G2 850watt, Acer B326HUL

Rm because its quiet and flat cables are a dream come true for management.

The R9 290x is supposed to be the fastest card ever. Although we must wait and see.

If you want to go laning i would recommend a smaller build like an itx or micro atx. A bitfenix prodigy m for micro would be perfect.

16gb of ram wont matter now but in a year or two some games will need it such as Star Citizen

There isnt a big performance jump from an i7 3770k to an i7 4770k but haswell will use power more efficiently

Don't plan a build this far away from building it. By april or may when you might actually be planning on getting parts together there will be tons of new releases, and by then the 3770k will look quite aged even if it still kicks butt. Maxwell is rumored to be released in Q1 of 14 so yea.

i9 25.6 GHz with NeuronThreading, 256gb 6000 MHz RAM, GTX 990 OC 3024MHz 12gb, Skeletal X99 motherboard, 1 Petabyte SSD, Fractal Design Humaniod R1 Case, Herbivore 10,000W PSU, Noctua NF16 LP Derma Cooler.

Probably the only Star Citizen player who is planning on a career in Journalism instead of piracy, mining, trading, exploration, military, station management, etc.

Well if you don't go for 240 mm rads then you can definitely have all three of those in the prodigy. If you want a 240 rad then you'll have to sacrifice the optical drive, but really its not that hard living with a external dvd drive.

And although I think you should wait until you are actually building this might help you imagine what a prodigy is capable of. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1ORqD

The remaining cash goes to what ever peripherals you like since I don't like picking those out myself.

If you want to use that form you can click on BBCode Markup at the top right, then copy paste that in a forum. Monitors is something hard to suggest, but I would personally not like to game on a 27" screen. So I picked 2 23" IPS panels here. If you really want to get a 27" I highly suggest to get a 1440p screen. But I went over budget with that option. For a case, you won't lift up any ATX case with the handles, you just have to lift it up with your hands, grabbing it from the bottom. Wich is heavy. If you really wan't you could go for the 350D or Bitfenix Prodigy M. But that requires an mATX motherboard.

Place 2 sickeflows in front, 1 as exhaust, 2 on the H100i.

CPU: Best option for your case.

CPU Cooler: One off the better AIO CPU watercoolers, just replace the stock fans. This should be able to OC the 4770k to 4,5. (but not given!)

Motherboard: The best motherboard currently avaible for your use. Has great onboard sound. CF ready.

RAM: You nowadays basicly go: do I trust this brand? is it CL9/1600+? Does it look sexy? If all 3 are yes, then you can buy it.

Storage: I went with a single 250GB SSD, this should be enough to store the OS, alot off games and the programs you use to edit. The 3TB drive is alot off space for your editing files.

GPU: Either the R9-290x or the 780. Just need to wait till that thing gets on the market and we are able to see how good it really is. I suggest to buy the Asus, MSI or Gigabyte version.

PSU: SLI/CF Ready, very awesome cables so no need to get extension cables.

Case: Sexy. As said, there are no real LAN rigs with ATX boards. If you don't like the case, then NZXT Phantom 630, Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 are cases to look at. (the LAN cases that there are out there is only marketing)

Monitor: As said, I personally am not a fan off 27" 1080p for gaming, if you do go 27" then get a 1440p one. Like the Acer B276 one. I am using 2 23" screens myself and I really like them. Just gaming on 1 off them tho. You could consider to get a 3rd screen and then game on all 3 off them, with the GPU power you have, this is very possible.

Mouse: I can suggest a few to look at, but it's all personal. Logitech G400s (use this myself), Steelseries Sensei, Corsair M65, Razer deathadder.

Keyboard: Great keyboard from what I heard, have 2 friends with them and they are very happy with it. Can't suggest many since I haven't tested alot off them. I just dislike razer keyboards.

Headphones: Best headphone out there for under 200$ hands down, no other options. Yes it does not have a microphone, but any 20$ clipable microphone will do just as good as MOST attached microphones. If you can get a modmic, Linus did a review off them here. They are very nice.

NZXT Phantom windowed, Asus Z77 Sabertooth, Intel 2600K, Noctua NH-D14, EVGA 780 Classified, Crucial Ballistic Tactical, Crucial M4 128GB + Samsung 850 EVO, Corsair RM850, Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty Peripherals: Sennheiser HD598, FinalMouse Classic, SteelSeries Qck Heavy, Ducky Shine Zero (MX Brown), AOC G2460PF & Qnix QX2710

Build Log: Phantom - Antique Noctua

Wow thankyou for the major info! Thankyou you for that, how do you play on 3 screens ! Wow lol

AMD A10-7850k, Cooler Master 212 EVO, Team 2133 2x4gb, V300 120gb, DVD, 3 HDD, MSI A88X-G43, Asus Strix GTX 970, EVGA Super Nova G2 850watt, Acer B326HUL

July is a while from now. Plan later. Parts and prices will be very different by then.
