the 1070 is a better overall card.  you can probably get better overlooks on the 980ti but in general the 1070 is a better card.  also i would recommend taking a look at the asus x99 deluxe 2.  amazing board

Newer pascal architecture that performes very similar if not better than a 980ti in games.(not familar with that software so can't really say anything besides I assume It would perform very similar if not better)

Unsure what power supply to pick?

doesn't matter, IPC is a thing on GPU too, 1070 is a newer architecture, better IPC, more efficient, etc...

1070 has more VRAM than 980ti (6vs8) which is good for rendering. Rendering won't be needed much with cuda cores and overall 1070 performs better. Same price then 1070 or if not 980ti should be fine too

The 1070 has a higher Compute capability than the 980ti. 6.1 vs 5.2 https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-gpus

i actually just want to know if it does make a really big deal between 980 Ti and 1070 or 1080. I watched some statistics but they're all about gaming, a little bit of a difference between them but does it apply on Archicad 19 or 3ds max?

Benchmarks for these types of softwares are always comparing Quadro and Firepro (from what I could find).

But this one seems to give an edge to AMD and you seem to be right about the 980ti (my apologies!)

I would swap out the SSHD for a WD Black. You already have an SSD so no need for a hybrid.

Also a Samsung 950 Pro, SM 961 or Intel 750 etc might be of benefit to you. They have much faster read/write speeds. I don't know if it would help with your particular usage but I would look into it.
