They will eventually have it, but when is the question. If it does come next year, it wont be until Q3 or Q4 is my guess. The will also be very overpriced (All macbooks are).

More than very overpriced.... $1300 for a fucking Core m3 and no GPU...

For that money, you can build a PC with a 6700K and a GTX 1070....

I aware of that, but Apple most likely wont release a new laptop with it until late next year.

The Macbook and Macbook air may have. However, the standard 45W Kaby Lake CPUs are not announced yet. So don't expect the 13" and 15" macbooks to have kaby lake anytime soon.

Meh, I hope that they get kaby, but at the same time I don't think that they would get kaby lake, since apple likes to run older hardware.

TBH I don't care that much, because they are useless for me in every single way, I cannot use MacOS for a single thing that I need to do. They need to fix the cooling and maybe not a god damn glossy screen, that is the worst thing ever when you sit somewhere with sun light or just light. I would also like to see that they removed the power button that looks and feels like a normal key, also the flashy Apple logo, makes them look a bit cheap IMO.

Just make them into a ThinkPad :D

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

Laptop: ThinkPad P50: i7 6820HQ, M2000M. ThinkPad T420s: i7 2640M, NVS 4200M

Feel free to pm me if you have a question for me or quote me. If you want to hear what I have to say about something just tag me.

If they come with Kaby Lake it'll be like 1.5-2 years before they release a new Macbook (from the last release in 2015). RIP.

Try to playback 4K videos on a MacBook and enjoy the 15fps! There is no reason to buy a MacBook....

So if someone works in final cut pro a lot, and spends time on the road and likes to travel light, the macbook is absolutely useless and doesnt fit their needs perfectly? everything has its place, even the low spec macbook has many uses for many users. Its clearly not you, and you dont like it but to say theres no reason to buy it is wrong, and to compare it to a desktop computer of all things is laughable.

I know... But can't you get a Macbook Air or Pro for a similar price? This was my point... Even if someone likes Final Cut Pro, he can just spend a bit more and get immensely better performance!
