So you want to be able to "agree" with a member in general rather than with one of their posts? I don't really see the point, and it would require considerable redesigning of the rep system to work.

I really, really don't understand the point of that.

 

Wouldn't that push the concept that everything that x member would do, you would agree with? Or find informative? Reputation I think we should stick with the individual basis that it's on.

I think OP just wants a system like how people use Steam comments now. On Steam comment "+rep" or "-rep" depending on if they are a good trader. Kinda like Heatware also has a reputation system and eBay. I believe that is what OP wants.

I thought it meant using AdvRep on comments in profile feed. Which is why I assumed it would work same way with status updates. They, after all, are posted on to same feed.
