What is the GPU?

From what i read, there are not many connectors for the GPU on that specific PSU....

There's at least 2 6-pin connectors, that's what the old gpu had. Also I think may have confused you. I don't plan on using the Dell PSU in my new build (I bought an EVGA for that). I plan to use the dell with the same old parts except replace the gpu, hard drives, and case. As for the gpu it depends. I already had some people suggest the rx 460 from my post about the i7-960 (you should remember that one), but I plan to do more research about bottlenecks.

A i7 960 can handle a RX 480 easily if OC'ed,get a R9 380 as it is a little bit more expensive and is 10-15fps faster

Ok, thanks for the input. What's your opinion on using a 1060? I mean ultimately what gpu that goes into the pc might depend on how much whoever is buying the pc wants to spend, but I want to know what the cutoff should be.

A GTX 1060 is good,JUST DON'T get the 3gb version,as the 3gb version matches a RX 470

And that's supposed to be a bad thing?

Yes

1.They should of named it a GTX 1050

2.3GB is becoming obsolete

3.The 3GB version it to close to the price of a 6GB one

1. wait never mind.

2. No it's not.

3. $199.99 vs. $249.99 isn't "close". You're paying $200 for R9 390 performance.

Maybe so, but would a rx 480 out perform the 1060 3gb. If it is true that the 1060 3gb is ~$50 cheaper than the normal 1060 then you can find a rx 480 for very close to the same price.

2.Yes it is,games like GTA 5 etc...tend to love 4gb or even more

3.I'm paying a cut down marketing trick named "Ngreedia",a RX 470 is a better buy

A RX 470 is on pair with the 3gb GTX 1060,if you can find a RX 480 for the same price id go with that for sure
