So, I just got a Cryorig H7 and overclocked my i5 6600k to 4.5 GHz (3.5 Stock).  I don't know what to say.  Under load it doesn't go past 45 Celcius.  I have never overclocked before, so maybe this is normal, but I know that a 1 GHz overclock is pretty good.  Any thoughts? Questions?

Yeah, 4.2-4.8 is common for i5s and i7s.

If you get to 5GHz then that's really impressive.

its a common overclock, enjoy the performance! What was your voltage at?

Well 4,5GHz is something that 99% of i5 6600k can handle.

45°C on CPU with 4,5GHz on 100% load? That sounds fishy. Even on custom loop that temps seems very low.

 

Try to run Aida64 with FPU or cache memory test ... this is pure cancer for your CPU and that way you will see high temps xD

I think you need to watch some more overclocking tutorials if you think the way you get to 5GHz is by just asking for a voltage.
