Here's the thing. I ordered cover for my phone through eBay. It os my first time ordering anything from there. Now the delivery is in between 6th September and 3rd October. Will I get some more exact info, or basically what will happen if guy with package will come and I won't be home?

If you get a date like that, you probably ordered from somewhere in China, it will probably just show up at some time 

 

it might come quick, might take ages if it gets held in customs

or sometimes they get shipped by freighter etc so take ages to arrive

I mean what it sounds like, it will turn up at your door within that date range

 

Unless you get tracked shipping you wont get any further notification,- though sometimes you could get updated with a more accurate date later its impossible to give a certain answer

I don't know what country your in so i can't really tell you exactly what happens, but here in Aus if you aren't home when the delivery man comes, they will leave a card in your letter box, which u then take to the post office and collect your package. Since your just ordering a phone case, i'd say they will just leave it in your letter box since it's small enough. But again your country could do things differently.

I live in Slovakia and I don't have such a post box. It is just small place for letters, no boxes pretty much. If he would give it to post, that'd be great.

Just keep an close eye on the tracking.

Ones ordered a shaving bowl for 5 euros. Got scammed and the shaving bowl didnt show up nor i got my money back. So please try not to get yourself scamed.

It has bo tracking since it's from China. 

PS. Your signature is nice combo with what happened to you. Luckily it was just small 5€ thing.

Also don't use the USPS service if it uses it. I once used it and put my address in there, didn't get my money back and they shipped to somewhere completely different and failed. It was clearly in the place i live.

M8 , 5 euros or not , When i buy something , I expect it to recive it. even if its a euro.

 

5 euros for a student like me can feed me for a day.

Hmm Slovakia, can you contact the post office? Or do you have family/friend you could ask?

You just have to wait and expect your package within these estimates. You will receive a notice in your post box or whatever you have. Then you can collect it at post office with providing the notice and your ID.

Well it's pretty uncommon that someone here orders through eBay. But maybe some my friend did and didn't tell, I'll ask again

I don't think it would make a difference where it's coming from e.g If you sent your friend a package and they weren't home, whatever happens with that package, the same thing will happen with a package from ebay.

Mhm I see. Well, as I remember I was always in some way of contact with the courier. Guess I'll have to wait and see, I'll write how it turned out. Thanks for helping!
