That exists and is called the Oukitel K10000. That's you statement taken to the extreme, though. I'm fine with Nexus 4 - or even slightly thicker sized phones, especially if that space is used to hide camera bumps/add battery size.

To be honest i wouldnt even mind that phone if it had the specs of the new nexus phone. But if youre making your phone so thin you need a camera bump, just fill in everything else with battery. Its not like that 5mm of bump makes the phone THAT much better to hold.

I have a lot of people come into my place of work where I have seen this issue occur. It looks like a weird flicking gray bar along the top of the touch screen and no amount of tapping on the screen will cause the phone to respond. Its as if the whole phone has frozen, only way I know it hasn't is because the time on the clock still changes.

 

Also what is up with people keeping their phones in their back pocket? The amount of insurance claims I do on iPhones (or phones in general) were people have dropped their phone into the toilet while its been in a back pocket.

I keep my phone in my back pocket for many reasons:

 

I don't want it banging around with my keys, change or pocket knife.

I lift, lower, move boxes a lot at my job and more fragile things in my front pockets get really beat up.

It is just more comfortable for me having my phone in the back pocket than the front pocket.

My 6s does restrict a bit of motion on really high leg raises in pants or shorts. But anything loose I don't have a problem. As for keys the screens are strong enough now days you don't have to worry. That is unless it is the new gorilla class

It apparently sacrificed scratch resistance for shock resistance (so it wont crack when you drop your phone, but the screen may scratch easier).
