Looking to do a hardline -- First time liquid cooling! Need tips

Hey,

So recently I posted my build log here:

One of my improvements is to do a hardline liquid cooling. While I don't plan to do this until next summer I was going to start planning and determining the parts required/layout. I've created a quick sketch in MS paint to determine roughly what the layout might be. To the pros out there, how does this look?

All of the darker blue lines would be the hard clear acrylic tubing. The light blue would be used as the fill port/access to the res. The only major concern I have is the tube going from the GFX card to the pump.

I've also create a quick parts list:

  • EX supremecy EVO Red Edition ($105) x 1
  • EK-FC R9-390X TF5 - Acetal+Nickel ($200) x 1
  • EK-FC R9-390X TF5 Backplate - Black ($50) x 1
  • Radiator gasket ($5) x 1
  • EKWB - EK-CoolStream PE 360 ($110) x 1
  • EK-DBAY Spin Resrvoir ($120) x 1
  • EK-D5 PWM G2 Motor ($135) x 1
  • D5 VARIO 8-24V Pump w/TACH cable option- MCP655-B ($115) x 1
  • G1/4 Enhanced Multi-Link Adapter ($10) x 10
  • Crystal Link (Acrylic) Tube 12mm OD 1m length ($6) x 4
  • EK-Ekoolant EVO Blood RED (concentrate 100mL) ($15) x 2
  • Corsair SP 120 RED LED ($20) x 1

Let me know what you think! Any advice is appreciated.

If I'm reading that right you're going to try and do a bay res and the down tubing from the top radiator in a 4 bay space, that won't work. There is far too little space in that area to do everything you want to do. Flip the res the other way.

Flip the res or the rad? I could easily flip the rad, but the res probably not.
