What psu for this system

Hello I'd like to know what psu I should get for the following system 

i7-2600

g1 1070

12gb 1333mhz xms3

a seagate 1tb 

kingston 256gb ssd

6 fans overall 

6 usb connected devices 

two monitors

450-650W should suffice. Rosewill, EVGA, Corsair, and Seasonic are my go to's.

Like an EVGA 600w unit. The system itself probably wont use more than like 300W, but peak efficiency is at 50%~ load.

I think that's an okay supply, but the EVGA ones are a lot better in terms of the components inside. @STRMfrmXMN created a very useful whitelist of all the supplies that are worth your money. Moral of the story, stay away from the Corsair CX supplies.

The RMx is actually marginally better quality than the G2 but it's not noticable.

Sandy Bridge era, still very much capable today, a little better than an FX8350 in terms of single and multithreaded performance.

Sell you whole system and get i3-6100, b150(altho there are many cheap z170 out there that has nearly price to b150, go with that instead), 8gigs, 950 and 400w bronze
The best-cheap-future proofing you can get

Now should I go for the 750w one since its 15 euros more expensive ? "Futureproof" on a side note I already own the system just replacing my faulty psu

Nah, once you go past the 550W/650W-ish they lose their value aspect to me when the EVGA B2 and GQ and sometimes GS can often be found at the same price.

Some PSU can go turn off the fan all together or be in quiet mode if it uses low power(One good reason to get a more powerful PSU).

The CX can't do this so oops

 

But many more expensive ones can, yes. My EVGA GS does that at extremely low loads.

I've read the rmx does this and it's dead silent , that's mainly the reason I'm going with it

One last thing, it's only affected one person who had an Air 240 and it's probably not an issue but I wanna double check with you - 

 

The RMx has a rifle bearing fan which is fine when mounted traditionally (like it would be in a Define S or Corsair 200R or something like that) BUT causes the fan to completely prevent any lubrication if mounted vertically like in an Air 240 or Air 540. If you have either case or have a case that mounts the PSU sideways then get the RMi or G2 instead as this won't be a problem.

It also does not make sense to pair it with a dual core even if it supports more modern things like DDR4 and has better IPC.

Did you not mention an i3 before..?

Anyways, it doesn't make sense to replace the 2600 as it's still plenty powerful today and getting an i5 may actually yield worse results in some games such as Overwatch and GTA V.

Taking trends into account I'd say three years Medium and up @60hz with DX12 possibly making the cycle longer (hopefully).
