What DPI do you use?

benga

Just curious what DPI people use, I saw some CSGO players with very low settings and thought it was odd. I figured they'd need higher so they can aim faster.

Mine is set to 5100 on a G600.

400dpi, 2.15 sens, 1080p cause 16:9>4:3 ;)

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

I use 800DPI, just because I have been using that for the last.. Oh I don't know.. Always! :P I'm not a CSGO gamer though.

Anyways, CSGO pros have low DPI (and sensitivity) because they want to be super accurate, even at very long range. This is also why they have big mousepads, so they can move a lot on it without removing their mouse from the pad, because they have so low sensitivity

400 DPI at a 1.3 sens

Don't you guys have to constantly pick up and place your mouse again coz you run out of table room? I barely move my mouse a few inches to get across the screen

Im really surprised by how low of a DPI everyone is using. I use 3000 DPI for everyday use and regular gaming, but where accuracy is required I have a DPI toggle to drop down to 1500 DPI for acurracy. I also have 800, 400, and 6000 DPI toggles but rarely find myself using 6000 DPI as its too unwieldy for me, although I sometimes use the super low DPI's when sniping in Arma 3 at long ranges.

Not really, especially given the map design in CS, the turning speed is only limited by what the sensor and your arm are capable of, easy example:

Player A uses 400cpi at 2 sens and moves the mouse at 1.5m/s

Player B uses 800cpi at 2 sens and moves the mouse at 0.6m/s

Obv. Player A will have faster cursormovement despite lower sensitivity.

Nah, when you have a large mouse pad, (for me at least) it's big enough to do 130~ degrees with half the horizontal space so...yeah :P

The only time I would lift my mouse is when I'm just spinning around :P

I use a QCK+ and hardly move more than half of it. The lower your DPI and sens means you have more accurate aiming. The higher DPS means your cursor will move faster and less accurately.
