What do you guys think of this PC Build? The budget is ~$1,100

Personally I would get a better cooler and ssd. Some thing like the cm212 evo if you aren't overclocking or a higher end one of you are. Also, you will get better performance from an intel or Samsung ssd.

Why did no one try a 6600k and 1070? It was kinda easy...

For me the Alpha is overpriced while STILL not having solid cable management, looks like a Alienware design

The GTX 1070 is a mini,but hey its a GTX 1070

It's what the OP wanted in his original list. Unless it's a case that has a design which is original (like this), I would've changed it. I'm very aware that the 1070 mini will look goofy, but I work from price when making a list, cutting costs where necessary to squeeze as much performance as possible from a budget.

K skew CPU and H170 makes no sense. get either a Z series board to allow overclocking, or a non K skew chip if you don't want to overclock. There is no sense in getting one and not the other.

The only other thing that stands out is that your motherboard does not have USB type C. Minor detail, and if you don't want that connector or don't need it then thats fine. But there are other boards in that price range which will have that feature (such as the GA-H170-D3HP)

Then there are other minor changes. You could get a different PSU for that price. in that range you could get a EVGA G2 which is slightly higher quality than your coolermaster unit (although there's nothing really wrong with the CM unit, the G2 is just a bit better)

As a personal recommendation I would get the Cryorig H7 instead of that CPU cooler you have there. More of an aesthetic choice than a performance one, as you don't really need an aftermarket CPU cooler to run a 6600 (locked)

You could cut corner on the case and get a full GTX 1070

The H7 has no price listing on American pcpp atm.

Price is usually around the 30-40 dollar range. But fair enough, if they're sold out everywhere then theres nothing you can really do about that except wait. and its up to you whether or not you wish to do that.
