Best 1080p 144hz monitor under $300 USD?

Hello guys. So previously, I was thinking of getting a 1440p 60hz monitor, but I heard that 1440p has problems with scaling 1080p content, and that it would never become a true standard. Also, I tend to spend most of my gaming hours playing competitive games like cs:go, so I believe 144hz would definitely help. Eventually, once 4k monitors become cheap, I could pickup a good 60hz one as a second monitor, because that is the next standard. But for now, which 144hz monitor should I get for under $300? All I want is that it comes from a reputable brand, looks decent (aesthetically), and has a good quality tn panel. Please leave me any suggestions. Thank you!

I picked up a refurb XL2430T from BenQ for $250USD.  The 2411z is a good monitor as well.  Check their site for some deals.  LG makes a 144hz for around 300 and its pretty nice.

Just now, APatientGuy said:

How do the colors and viewing angles look? I've seen it before online and it looks like a really good value.

Everything looks great to me. I have it on campus in summer storage right now so I can't quite remember specifics but I haven't had any complaints with it :)
