Is 500w enough?

acidoxyde

Hey guys, I'm new to pc building this is actually my first personal rig so there is lot's of stuff that I'm afraid I might get wrong. The thing that scares me the most is psu. I'm thinking of buying this but I don't know if 500w is enough or if i should go for a 550w or 600w psu.

My specs are:

i5-6600k

gigabyte gtx 1070 g1 gaming

2 ddr4 ram modules

2 120mm fans

1 ssd

P.s. I'm looking to oc the cpu and maybe the gpu as well. I won't be doing any sli upgrades in the future

EDIT: I appreciate all of your answers but I would like to add that I'm on a bit of a budget. I can't spend more than 80-90 euros(including shipping which is anywhere from 10-15 euros).

I think 600 W will actually allow for quite a bit of room for expansion.

An EVGA B2, GS, GQ, G2, 550W is fine, would work well for you.

when in doubt, this should be a pretty good website for finding out what PSU rating you need

Not really accurate but it's better to be exaggerated to be safe. My setup recommends a 750W PSU when I'm barely hitting 500W, I only have a 550W PSU.
