Need to Find a New Case

byalexandr
Go to solution Solved by byalexandr,

I like this one very much. Out of stock right now but I can wait long enough:

I don't really like that top part of the front bezel, but I can fix that no problem-o. Looks pretty premium too.

I'll try this thread again, didn't get any replies last time which is odd.

Anyway, with my new 290X Lightning being three slots in width and quite long at the same time, I need a bigger case to house my components. I'm still using my mITX board, but there are basically no triple slot mITX cases out there (NCase M1 is too expensive and the card won't fit). So that means I need to move up the case size to an mATX form factor.

But with such a nice card, I want to have a nice case too. I used to have an N200 from Cooler Master, and I would buy it again if it at least came with a side panel window (but it doesn't). And I've been looking at the Corsair Carbide 88R, but it's just too much (cheap looking) plastic for my taste. A window would be nice as well, that 290X Lightning is quite the looker. I do want to keep the price down though, so the EVOLV from Phanteks is out of the question (as much as I like it). I'll be using the components in my signature, just in case someone asks.

The preferred price range is around $50 but I know there won't be much at all there. I'll consider more expensive options but I currently don't have any case at all and I only make so much a day so I need a case quick.

Any suggestions?

I'm currently using a Node 804 from Fractal design and really like it, but it's understandable if the cube case form factor isn't really your thing.

Too expensive, and although I don't mind the cube style cases, I wouldn't spend $110 on one.

Don't like Thermaltake too much. I only considered that one I linked because it looked pretty good.  Nevermind I guess I didn't link it.
