Looking for the right Ipad

So im looking to get an Ipad for entertainment and also study purposes at a budget of upto 500 CHF (Swiss Franks). This could easily get me a new 2022 Ipad (360.-) or a 2022 Ipad Air (Slightly above 500 but thats fine) or I could look for something on the used market (maybe a 2020 Ipad Pro or similar?).

 

What benefits would an Ipad Air pose over a normal Ipad and is it worth buying an older used Pro rather than a new Ipad/Air?

 

What makes most sense at this pricepoint and what is most futureproof?

The air a little lighter and thinner normally but well honestly you wont notice

 

They all run the same soc basically so will all get the same support time frame.

 

Just do yourself a favour and DO NOT get the 32gb storage ones.

so do you think a Ipad 10th gen is enough for most use cases?

A 6th gen is still goin way strong these days doing what you wanna do a 10th gen is ZOOMING. Do keep in mind that 64gb of storage can fill up quick. So if its in budget get more storage
