PhysX + PCI-E lanes help
2 minutes ago, js_theking said:I need help with my new build. I currently already own a GTX 1080, and I was pretty much disappointed by the performance of my card in Mirror's Edge Catalyst. With everything maxed at 2k res out I was averaging 80 FPS while Doom was rock steady at 144MHz.
Quick question: what was your monitor again?

Strong card + weak Physx car = Weak performance. Unfortunately, a slower PhysX card will actually slow you down rather than improve things.

Ah... you'll be fine. Don't worry about it.

No. And no.
