At first I imagined Slick as a videocard.

The actual card looks good though, but I would prefer a blue/black theme.

That's actually quite nice, but then again the only company that makes good looking AMD cards is XFX so it's not surprising that they made another one.

It's basically just a rebadge of the 7970 cooler with some black thrown on, looks like an EVGA ACX cooler tbh

Oh I didn't notice, sorry

Too bad i'm putting waterblocks on these cards (Not the XFX one) otherwise they would look pretty good without one.

Yup, totally agree with his sentiment that both AMD and Nvidia need each other to push the market and create competition. Also wouldn't buy the re-brands from either company, previous gen cards are the way to go right now.

why do people care about what the front of a video card looks like so much, once its in the case, all you can really see is the top of the card, and thats given you have a window in your case.

All Evga ACX cooler models look the exact same bar some tiny bits of trim.

Irrelevant post remains irrelevant

ACX and Sig 2 are a completely diffirent coolers. Color might be similiar but everything else is diffirent. Just take a look.

The XFX looks nice, but it's voltage locked which will result in crappy overclocks. The Gigabyte card that Linus reviewed has a separate plate for vrm cooling which is much appreciated with vrms temps becoming the limiting OC factor on Tahti with high Asics. It also could be voltage locked though? The Asus card will go up to 1.4v - which could be nice, assuming you don't fry it :)   I enjoy watching Linus reviews, but the R9 280X video was quite bad and rushed. Slick was on the screen for 30 seconds going over three bechmarks - I hope they do some more coverage.

The look is still pretty much the same? I'm not sure what point your trying to make here.

It's two fans in the middle of a plain looking black shroud. Some have silver accents, some have gold and some have a white sticker. The essence of them all is still the same, which is also exactly what XFX has done here minus some tiny accents.

Well for me they look diffirent, maybe because I am a detailist.
