a 1080 for physX... really? like, shouldn't a GTX 750Ti be enough for that? :/

Skunkworks has always been basically the best you can get for money on the marked right now so 2 1080s + PhysX card it is :P 

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Yes it would. But that would go against what skunkworks is about. The entire idea is to be one of the best PCs on the market which grows with the channel.

I thought he already settled on two 1080s? PhysX doesn't really have that much relevance now, does it?

@JayzTwoCents I'm also going to go with a pair of GTX 1080 Classifieds for my personal build during the December holidays when the Fall semester is over :). Boy would two of those bad boys demolish 3D rendering, even 4K rendering in Nvidia Iray in 3ds Max, plus 4K gaming with settings cranked to full effect (BTW I am going to get an ROG Swift PG27AQ to go along with the upgrades! PB238Q will be used as secondary because it's still good). Not to mention I also plan on upgrading my RAM to 32GB of Klevv Cras 2133 MHz.

 

Next set of upgrades would be a case and custom-sleeved cables for the AX1200i. Does anyone know what case I am very confident I will jump to? :D

 

I personally think the 750 Ti would suffice for a PhysX card (assuming said game uses PhysX)
