Can i upgrade the ram on this laptop

Go to solution Solved by swordsman247,

It looks like the ram is soldered on and not upgradeable from the asus support page. But I may be wrong...

Quick question, I'm mostly a desktop user but iam going on a trip and wan't to get a laptop to do some very light gaming and web surfing for under 200$ And i think this is good

Wondering if i can pop 4gb, Or if i'm lucky 8gb of ddr3 in there to smooth things up...I suspect it won't go above 4gb cause of the power it can put out..

Well for under 200usd not a big surprise. I think hp has something similar to those  out now that might be worth looking into.

You know any laptops under 250$ 300$ That can play big map engine games like W.o.T and quickly load web pages?

Maybe you can find an okayish used one an put an ssd in it... but as far as new? Not that I know of, but I don't know what w.o.t. needs to run well as I've never tried it myself. That Asus will be fine for web browsing an Netflix I have an acer something with almost the same specs(and the soldered ram, but the ssd can be replaced.)
