Wi-Fi Cuts Out Every Few Minutes

My Wi-Fi keeps cutting out every few minutes. The Wi-Fi symbol still shows that I am connected but nothing works. Any help?

yes many times

open cmd and type the "ping <routers ip (e.g 192.168.1.1)>"

If it get though with not problems do "ping 8.8.8.8"

if that comes back with errors it is your internet connection or if it is the first one it is the connection between you and the router. Tell me your result.

scan your wifi and see how many WiFi hotspots do you get?

 

your router might be on a channel that is clashing with other routers

 

so you might need to change the channel
