The article is outdated and irrelivent And no don't get the 1070 it is over priced.

I would personally wait for the 1060 to drop or pick up something form team red 

like 2 480's which will be about the same price as 1 1070 with the performance of a 1080. That or wait for the 490/490x

Please, show me the gaming benchmarks that back up such claims. Please, I dare you.

It's not overpriced, this is currently the second best single card on the market right now, It's absolutely excellent for 1080p and 1440p gaming and VR

It is overpriced. There is not enough stock and people are still purchasing cards that don't even exist yet.
