Hey. Whats the best cooler under the 50 dollar? (it has to be silence too.)

I wouldn't get the Seidon because it uses hard plastic tubing, try to find one with rubber tubes or go for a air cooler.

if you don't mind used you can probably get a used noctua for under 50, just picked up a vgc NHu12s for 30

The Sytche Fuma if you can afford a extra $5. I think it might even be $50 currently. its on par or better than a Noctua D15. Its the best HSF you can buy for its price and easily is the best cooler for its price.

They should both preform prety much the same.

Be Quiet! Shadow Rock 2 is a bit more silent and is also cheaper.

I dont know about Scythe Fuma but mounting on Be Quiet! coolers can be difficult to do yourself but once mounted it holds very well.

The Fuma is better and seems to be positioned next to the Ninja 4 in terms of performance.

You take the cooler and mount it on your motherboard (screw it into your motherboard in such way that it is making contact with CPU and therefore transmiting heat from the CPU onto cooler it self).

The mounting system on Be Quiet! coolers is not very user friendly and it may be difficult to mount compared to Noctua coolers for example.

You're fine with the stock cooler in that setup. If you're worried about noise, there are $10 Zalmans out there that are much quieter than stock, like the CNPS7000V-(AL). If it's looks you're after, the $30 Cryorig C7 is beautiful imo,  and Silverstone makes a lovely downdraft cooler around that price that also looks good. 

 

I guess it's best put this way: what makes you want aftermarket cooling on a locked CPU? 

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

The Fuma wins for performance hands down.

 

The Shadow Rock 2 will be quieter but the Fuma isn't loud.

 

The Fuma is definitely the better cooler here.
