Craigslist AWESOME computer of the day.

Flynn

So I saw on another topic where someone was posting about craigslist postings that were bugging the shit out of them where some idiot claimed ridiculous things about a pos computer.  It got me thinking about other hilarious computer postings I run into and I thought it might be funny to consolidate them in a single post.  So if you run into a computer today that you think is funny, post it here.  We will just call this our thread of AWESOME.  (I never said I wasn't sarcastic)

RULES:

1:  The computer must be posted on CL within the last week, let's not get too old.

2:  Each person can only post 1 AWESOME computer per day.

3.  Tell us what you find AWESOME about the ridiculous computer you are posting.

4.  KEEP IN MIND that these are Craigslist postings.  So most likely they will be gone within a few days.  So rather than dealing with all that and also advertising for bad builds on CL, just copy past the text in your thread.  I don't have a problem with you posting to the links themselves, so until someone stops us from doing that feel free to do that as well.

5.  If you quote someone's AWESOME posting, please remove pictures from the quote.

This is all about sarcasm.  So feel free to be as sarcastic about how AWESOME something is as you must be!

Gaming Computer and screens - $2500 (crossville)

Super fast gaming computer for sale. three cd drives, three hard drives (around 2000GB's total) GeForce gtx 650 ti boost graphics card (brand new) cm storm trooper case (can play all night and doesn't heat up and super quiet with fan speed control) 16GB ram installed for no wait gaming AMD A8-5500 APU quad core processor. 700w power supply so you can add on anything and never need to upgrade. graphics card supports three screens easily. runs World of Warcraft on ultra at 200fps. three screens add on $100 per screen (two 19" tvs and one 21.5" dell screen) and more. windows 8 64bit and wireless 300mbps 2.5/5ghz wireless card that means no lag ever and better range three antennas and soooo much more. fastest computer I have ever seen without fully breaking the bank.

So aside from the obvious "Super fast gaming computer" statement, I love how this person puts 2000GB's total instead of just saying 2TB.  The "can play all night and doesn't heat up" is pretty AWESOME too.  Now the absolutely best part of this, go to the link and look at these screens. If I had all three of these things on my desk at once I would expect someone to slap me.  Thank God it's only 2500 bucks, because this much AWESOME shouldn't be priced for much less.

Pretty beast specs and ofcourse Fractal cases are the best! :D

thats actually a decent PC, not sure that qualifies for what we are doing lol.  When I say AWESOME I mean purely sarcastic.  Although I'd say that Extreme SSD sticker on a Fractal Design case definitely is AWESOME (who the hell would stick ANYTHING on a FD case?  They are so sexy)

The specs are not too bad on this one, but the fact that he has a separate post for every day the last month, I couldn't help but post it (since I'm in the area today anyway).

In Jacksonville Florida:  http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/sys/4060511178.html

the price is 899, Cash only. No other trades. No fire arms of any kind, and no other computers. Cash only. Also no shipping, exchange will be done in person in a public place.

no for the parts that are in the computer. I will include the price of each part next to it I will also add them up at the end so you can see how much it actually cost me to build this computer. I wont include the price of my time and labor.

CPU: AMD FX-8350 Vishera 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W Eight-Core. Price $200

GPU: SAPPHIRE 100352-2L Radeon HD 7950 with boost 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16. Price $330

Motherboard: ASRock 990FX Extreme3 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD. Price $120

Computer Case: Rosewill THOR V2 Gaming ATX Full Tower Computer Case. Price $130

CPU COOLER: Corsair Hydro Series H80 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler. Price $90

RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600. Price $75

Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda ES ST3750640NS-IM 750GB 7200 RPM. Price $140

DVD Burner: ASUS 24X DVD Burner. Price $20

Power Supply: A Semi-Modular COUGAR CMX 1000 COUGAR-1000CMX 1000W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE. Price $150

Operating System: Windows 7 pro 64 bit a cost if 140$

Total Price: $1395 this is what I paid

Now, if it cost him $1395 to build the computer, why sell it for only $899?

I'm having a hard time ignoring that single blue wire in the sea of red too.
