Why isn't Intel making GPUs

They make their Tegra CPUs after all.

Haven't they said recently they'd stop doing that?

Would be interesting to see another rival in GPU world :)

Amd is there and has always been there.

They make great value component, and nvidia make the niche enthusiast one when amd isn't doing better than them. There isn't so much place in that area.

If they do integrated graphics, it's mostly to power laptops, and they aren't very well. When you see how amd is often better than intel HD integrated graphics, it's mostly because they know how to make GPU's more efficiently.

Cpu and Gpu don't function the exact same way, they have different architecture, different optimizations, which on greater scale make a great deal of difference, that's why intel can't make "real" GPU's as easily.
