What to do with old graphics card?

I have recovered one of the few working parts of an old pc I used, this was in it and it still Works, but it's totally potato level junk so the question is:

Can Linus Tech Tips come up with a purpose that ISN'T throwing it away or recovering the gold off of the connector?

Put in somebody's  old pc so they can stream Netflix?

That's actually something I could do thanks :D

But I meant something more silly, stupid or something straight up dangerous for the card?

I tend to keep cards I have owned, just in case my current one dies. Mainly because my mobo has no onboard video.

I did make one dead one I had into a coster.

If your city has a place where they recycle computer parts, like Linus has shown in Vancouver you can take it there. I usually will take mine to the local school district.  They use them to teach kids how to build computers or they use them in the ones the kids use.

Use a router to cut a hole in your desk the size of the gpu (but not all the way through the desk), put the gpu in it, and fill it with clear epoxy flush with the top of the desk.  your old gpu is now immortalized in your desk forever!

1.  Build a server with a Xeon CPU that doesn't have a dedicated GPU and just put this old one in so you have something that a monitor can plug into, even if it's just to do the initial config.

2.  If you know it's working, keep it a bench card that you use to troubleshoot systems with as you have a known good card.

That's a surpirsingly good idea, and the profile of the card is small enougth that I could actually get it into the table, but then again I might buy a new table instead of using my old one. I think I'll be buying some epoxy son, now If nly  wasn't so broke atm xD

Make it into a necklace and wear it a la Flava Flav style :D

I could wear a part of it as some geeky accessory, that's a pretty good idea.
