Audio Companies: What do you recommend?

I just wanted to know, if someone asked you for a good company who would you recommend? I would say Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic (Got the COPs), Audio-Technica, or Meze.

Sennheiser for sure. I don't have any but I have tried my friends headphones hooked up to a beast soundcard, They sound amazing!

Really depends on your budget though, some are better than others at different prices and also with different music.

But this is a very broad question, you should have just asked everyone to name brands that pop up in your head.

I like any company with a commitment to making well designed, durable products and advancing the way we listen to music.   What I don't like is companies that use marketingspeak and fancy case designs to sell sub par designs to people who don't know any better.

 

Unfortunately, the later outweighs the former quite a bit at the present moment.

I've enjoyed my experiences with both, sonically and functionally. Though the 'home-built' part of Woo's amps is less then desirable.
