agreed for example i use my old cloud x hyper gaming headset for everyday listening to music when im out and about with my phone after upgrading to the hyper x cloud II 

and im fine for it so its really personal preference as well as you opinion on bang for buck

Sorry, It's because there's 3 days left on Massdrop and I can only get it today if I want to... I'm looking all over the internet whether to get it or not looking for all opinions.

Get it if you're curious. Massdrop exclusive headphones usually have good re-sell value if you don't like it.

get the akg k7xx they are really good, as far as i know, but the best of the best are sennheiser hd 800s (under 2k) then come some unknown brands, wich are really good, but u have to be really into the sound game to even now, that they exist, and yeah the best open back ever is eventually the sennheiser orpheus

i wasnt recommendeding them i was pointing out the fact its personal preference as @SSL said. i bet some one would say the headphones arent right for everyday music.

Which is best objectively? Nothing. As I've said, looking for the "best" headphone is the wrong approach. It's all about finding the headphone that works for you.
