custom watercooling motherboard question

hi i have a question about watercooling a motherboard i want to make a complete custome case that is going to be water cooled what i wanted to ask is if i put a motherboard inside a box that has a waterblock attached to it will i have to worry about the mossfets etc getting air since it will be enclosed or will it be ok

p.s. are all atx motherboard cpu sockets in the same place? if not is there a website or diagram i can look up

thank you

99% of cases have some airflow over the transistors,  even the most hard core wc rigs.  Having static air would allow the transistors to warm up,  and your ram will also no longer be cooled from the airflow. So While I believe it would Handel it I can't advise it.

to your question:

' are all atx motherboard cpu sockets in the same place?' no. not all motherboards have the same socket locations.

RAM/DIMM slots and relationship to VRM is also not standardized.
