I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Yeah this machine is hilariously out of date to the point that, a $105 GPU, the 750 Ti, would make this machine shine like no tomorrow and likely double the overall worth.

At that point it'd be better just to upgrade this machine rather than sell it if you can. I'm unsure of the reasons for the sale, but still... I wouldn't pay more than $250 for that entire rig.

You gotta admit that is a old chip set, and I may value it was a custom build, but if you don't feel bad ripping someone off sell it for 300, I personally wouldn't pay that much. If you get 200 at least, take it.
