Unless you get one that does fit it, I don't know what to recommend.

Though this is probably not going to work, find some modeling clay, push a chunk of clay into there, and let it harden up. Then try to unscrew it. I dont think this is going to work though... :P

If you don't mind ruining it then drill through it.

It won't, if the bolt is siezed or over tight then it won't set hard enough to be able to turn it

You need an allen key..

That is the correct answer for this type of job :) it looks like a 7/16 Hex Key to me

you could try with a flathead screwdriver that fits in 2 opposite corners

Thought this won't be good for your screwdriver

dont do this.. you are going to ruin the screwdriver and the bolt head... and then you will definitely have to drill though it.

so get a set of ALLEN KEYS (VERY CHEAP)

and do it properly

I bought a set of allen keys when I was 12 for my bike. I still use them, nearly 10 years later. Get some.

In fact, everyone reading this thread. Even if you don't need them now, you will need them at some point in life. People around you will be scratching their heads, you'll go to the cupboard where you have little pocket-sized sets of screwdrivers, hex keys, star keys, etc, come back, open whatever needed opening and be held aloft by your compatriots in triumph. Tales will be forever told of that glorious victory over the weird looking bolt that nobody could decipher, and your legend shall live forever in song, sung by your children..and their children...and their children...zzzz

Allen keys are cheap as hell. Buy them and take the bolt out.

This or ask your friends if they have an allen key the correct size. someone is bound to have the right size.

Like I said, It isn't good for the screwdriver, but if you get a flat head that fits snuggly into the bolt head it won't ruin anything.

Trust me I'm a doctor.

If you have a allen key that is only 1 or 2 sizes to small than you can put a piece of cloth over the bolt and then push in the allen key.

That way the cloth will fill up the empty space and you should be able to unscrew it.
