Aside from better oc whar is the founders edition

KSores

I believe the founders version has the new reference cooler. The non founders is AIB partners. I think that's what it is but could be wrong.

that's a good question.  Hopefully we can find out soon.

(nothing much has been announced yet so it's crystal ball time if you want to know now)

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

From what I know, Founders Edition is just a binned chip. I don't really know of any other difference.

I don't think there is anything else than better OC.

But I'm still wondering how much you can OC normal card, and how much can that  founders  edition handle.

Looks like the Founder's Edition is just the new reference cooler, in appearance anyway. That begs the question, what about board partners that make reference models? Will those cards also be considered the Founder's Edition?

There's a tweet from hardware canucks that indicates a shroud with higher quality materials:

I think this seems most likely the case, that both editions will have the same shroud with different materials. It doesn't really make sense to have two different shroud designs for a new graphics card.
