Broken Fan Blade on GTX 970

I broke a fan blade on my MSI GTX 970 Twin Frozr edition. The RMA was declined. What do I do? I've read that I can break a fan blade on the opposite side of the first broken blade so the fan will have balance. Will this degrade the fan more quickly?

or you could look up a replacement 90mm fan on ebay or something

there is no "opposite side"

it is an odd numbered blade fan

just get a new fan.. or a new cooler, arctic twin turbo or who knows what they have now for the new cards... they are not that expensive and probably better than stock ones
