razer blackshark left headphone not working

greentumaru

I just got some razer blackshark headphones from the salvation army and the left headphone doesn't work.

Does anybody know of a place around greater vancouver that could potentially fix this or have advice on how I could fix it.

There isn't any wires detached in the device.

Because it was $8 and I don't have $130 to spend on headphones. I thought it would be an easy fix. I can still return them today.

That's pretty cheap, have you tried going to an electronic fixing store and had them give it a look? it might be as easy as resoldering a few wires but the PCB you saw could be damaged or even worse, the driver could be damaged resulting it in not working :/

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

I think a electronic fixing store can fix that for 10-20$ if it really only is the wire they need to solder back on. You could even flip the headset for more then, if you want to :)

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff
