Dota 2 CSGO computer

Hi guys i'm planning to build a pc but i'll only be playing dota 2 csgo and watch some youtube videos. I want to build a building pc that is not too expensive and will run both dota 2 and csgo smoothly. How much exactly should I spend for this kind of computer? :)

just for the tower? $600-ish

full set? around $900~1000, depending on peripherals and monitor you pick

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

a skylake i3 + gtx 950 + 8gb of RAM would be a reasonable minimum

Including monitor and/or OS? I'm going to not include it. But if you go for an i3/750 ti build it should run you no more than $500/$600 I'd think. I'll make you a build if you like.

yeah but I doubt he wants to go fishing for older hardware and a little headroom with not much more cost is worth it imo.

@op this is a good system, however a hyper asrock mobo + better GPU and larger PSU will future proof the system a bit more.

Hello there, and welcome to the forums!

Anything you like, but minimum configuration that will run CS:GO and Dota2 smoothly is an AMD A8-7600. Be sure to pick 2133MHz RAM for APUs.

The problem is that this is an nVidia product and scoring any nVidia product a "zero" is also highly predictive of the number of nVidia products the reviewer will receive for review in the future.

I wasn't wrong. It's extremely rare that I am. I provided sources as well. Different devs can disagree. Further, we now have confirmed discrepancy from Twitter about he use of the pre-release 1080 driver in AMD's demo despite the release 1080 driver having been out a week prior.

His endless dick jokes and toilet humor are annoying as well.

Not personally a fan of ASRock. Heard a lot of bad things about them, so I try to circulate between ASUS, MSI, and Gigabyte. I think EVGA is decent too.

I don't think so... I've heard about other companies using the function. But because you have to go through BCLK and a couple other things, there's a few quirks, like no iGPU or turbo boost.

well the hyper models have a physical external BCLK "engine" no iGPU or turbo boost is really a non issue.
