Building a PC for a friend

Hey, I was just wondering if you guys could help me put together a build for my friend, He doesn't want me overclocking but he wants the performance to power his 1080p monitor. lol His budget is around $900 not anything higher than $1000. The games he plays are CS:GO; Minecraft; GTA 5; Battlefield 4; etc. Also, he's in love with this case (spec alpha) so no way he's changing his mind. I tried making build for him on pcpartpicker so make sure to check it out.

Looks OK, but replace that DDR4 ram with DDR3, that CPU and MOBO don't accept it

Also you can use a 600 W PSU instead of 700 W to save some $$$

And I'd recommend the MSI 970 Twin Frozr V for the cooler

i7 4790k | MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition | G.Skill Ripjaws X 16 GB | Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB | 2x Seagate Barracuda 2TB | MSI GTX 970 Twin Frozr V | Fractal Design R4 | EVGA 650W

A gaming PC for your budget: $800 - $1000 - $1500 - $1800 - $2600 - $9001

Remember to quote people if you want them to see your reply!

Sounds like he already has a build. Could you list the specs for his existing build?

The problem is that this is an nVidia product and scoring any nVidia product a "zero" is also highly predictive of the number of nVidia products the reviewer will receive for review in the future.

Only yours, you don't shitpost on the same level that we can, mainly because this thread is finally dead and should be locked.

I wasn't wrong. It's extremely rare that I am. I provided sources as well. Different devs can disagree. Further, we now have confirmed discrepancy from Twitter about he use of the pre-release 1080 driver in AMD's demo despite the release 1080 driver having been out a week prior.

You apparently haven't seen his responses to questions on YouTube. He is very condescending and aggressive in his comments with which there is little justification. He acts totally different in his videos. I don't necessarily care for this content style and there is nothing really unique about him or his channel. His endless dick jokes and toilet humor are annoying as well.
