Corsair AF120 Quiet edition question

GeorgeKellow

Does this fan come with a low noise adapter?

Also (I know its not PWM) but could I control the voltage through my mobo? MSI Gaming 5

Thanks

They are quiet anyway. And you can plug the fans into your MB for software fan control via MSI command center

Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Hero | CPU: Intel Core i7 4770k | Cooling: H100i | GPU: EVGA GTX 970 SSC | HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200rpm | RAM: 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 Corsair Vengence Pro 1866 MHz | SSD: Samsung 840 Evo 250GB | Benchmark: http://www.3dmark.com/fs/4457125http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/b/hHZ8TW

yes. the msi command center lets you control the fan curve for voltage control and pwm. in my experience the command center works best if you disable the smart fan control in the bios, otherwise it has 2 fan curves setup. the bios and from command center which doesn't always work. (with a bit of tweaking with command center you can even get the fan below 50%. do this by saving the fan curve file and edit the values below 50% in a text editor. after that. load the file back to the command center.
