Hey,guys i am getting GTX 960 graphics card and i wonder how good is that card actually. Will it run games like GTA V on high 1080 p or star citizen medium..

And is difference between 4gb and 2 gb version too big?

Nope...the 960 isn't exactly powerful enough to fully utilise a 4GB frame buffer so save some monies and get a 2GB card :D

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

Get a 4GB 380 instead, it's quite a bit faster.

That statement is completely false.

And

2gb isn't even worth it anymore.

If you plan to run GTA V on high settings your going to want as much VRAM as you can get.

An alternative for more performance is a R9 380, gives a 5-10% increase in performance but it consumes more power/hotter

The 960 on the other hand has a tad less performance but comes with cool features like Geforce experience, also runs cooler/Less power consumption

Its all your favor though, do you want features or more performance??

no, not really...

dont get the 2gb version unless you just want a gpu for very light gaming, not for AAA titles

edit: it probably wont use 4gb, but it sure as hell would cap the 2gb without a problem

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

I have a 4GB 960 and it runs GTA V on High at 60fps 1080p. Runs most things at ultra/high at 60fps just fine.

Needs money for car parts :P

It's a good card. It can run some modern titles at high/medium if you have a 4GB version.

Also, consider the R9 380.

There are LOADS of benchmarks for the GTX 960, just search them... For example:
