New Mobo, CPU, and RAM = Won't boot

I've tried to breadboard it only connecting it via 24 pin and 8 pin, CPU heatsink/fan in and 1 stick of ram. Jumper for power-switch. Still no boot. :(!

CPU fan doesn't come on? Have you tried just shorting the pins with a screwdriver instead of using the power switch in case the power switch is bad?

I'm out of ideas man. I'd have to be there myself piddling with it to try to figure it out.

since I'm using a H170A PC MATE with ddr4-2400 ram, could this be a problem?

It supports much higher than 2400, you've also tried two sets of ram with it. So probably not.

Could it be that my CPU (I5-6600K) only supports DDR4-1866/2133, DDR3L-1333/1600 @ 1.35V memory? That's what it says on Intel's website for the processor. I'm assuming this is it tbh.
