The i5-6400 wouldn't be able to reasonably handle two 980 Tis in SLI.

if your spending so much money i would go ATX. also i wouldnt spend more than 150-180$ on a motherboard, its just not worth it in my opinion.

maybe go for a fractal design define r5 or something similar.

also i7 or overclocked i5

mabe wait for 16nm gpu's before you invest so much. they are just around the corner and should be really good.

Desktop Build Log http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/486571-custom-wooden-case-with-lighting/#entry6529892

thinkpad l450, i5-5200u, 8gb ram, 1080p ips, 250gb samsung ssd, fingerprint reader, 72wh battery <3, mx master, motorola lapdock as secound screen

Please quote if you want me to respond and marking as solved is always appreciated.

i wouldnt overclock with a hyper 212 evo

and 980ti sli on a single 1080p 60hz panel is overkill. i would go with fury x's and a cheap 144hz freesync panel

I think it makes sense to stick with a 4K monitor because that is the one thing that the OP requested

its a hovercraft! no but i just really REALLY want... REALLY want to max out this cases fan limit. i put 5 fans in MY case which holds 5 fans, so why not go all out with the 15 fans that THIS case can hold?
