pretty crap TN 1080p monitor, for a build with a 980Ti i would want to be looking at 1440p IPS evne if its 60hz, but you could plump for 144hz

Board is overkill IMO, and there are things you could save on but depends if you feel the need to

Get 2x8gb sticks of DDR4 if you're going Z170, no point in filling all the slots.

At this budget I think I would go X99, otherwise looks good

Maybe WD blacks instead of Seagate? Never had any problems with seagate but everyone else seems to think they are quite bad

Also Take windows 10 ...people have reported slight performance increases + Faster boot times

Motherboard and RAM is fine....though 8 GB would suffice 16 wont hurt

Please vote for Donald Trump. I am out of sitcoms to watch.

When lyfe gives you HDDs, make SSDs

Jesus Christ, why 4x4 RAM? why don't you buy just 2x8? Better and cheaper, and more slots for future upgrades if needed

I'd go for an i7 5820k setup instead, and ditch that x61, for a Noctua NH-D15.

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

Arguing with religious people is like explaining to your mother that online games can't be paused...

Noone is gonna say that 860 is too much for a single 980? No? MY TIME TO SHINE!

Get an Evga supernova g2/p2 650w psu, that's plenty for a single 980 configuration like that!
