I recently became a audiophile and I wanted to have a better headphone. So I started thinking, what type of sound do I like? And I found out that i really really like the sound of my current headphones. The hyperx Cloud. Really tight and punchy bass. deatailed highs and great mids. Although there is something missing. The sound stage sounds really closed-back. Because they are. So are there any headphones out there that have the same sound signature but are open back and or have a wider sound stage. Price is no problem. Well let's say max 200 dollar.

AD900x/ k612/k702 they are the headphones with the biggest soundstage in that price range, but they are not the same kind of sound signature as the cloud. I think the DT 880 has a sound signature that is about the same (not sure).

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

The 558 sound just like the 598, so unless you are willing to put the extra money down for a  bit better build then it's a waste to get the 598 over the 558.

Honestly the Sennheiser HD 700 or 800 would be the best for you. They will blow the DT 880 or 558s out of the water.

So i think the dt990 will be the best bet since they have the most responsive bass. Thank you for the graphs!

Well that depends on how much bass you like and the 990 can be a bit harsh for some people in the highs.

I would pick the 880 for that or look at the k612 pro I find them to be really good for a song like Volbeat lola montez.

Alright skiping the hd700's but i have a bad reputation with AKG for sounding really tiny and have no bass at all.

Let me guess you have tried the lower end models? Because they are like sennheiser. The k612 are not bass headphones they are very analytical headphones

Stay away from the DT 990 then. The 7xx are the ones with most bass when you look at the k600 sereis and k700 series

I know a store in Denmark called 4sound where you can try the DT 880, but that is to far away from you. I dont know any stores in the Netherlands? Maybe google headphone stores or music stores in Netherlands
